Adhere User Profiles Server, Premium Edition, is an essential building block for all mobile application developers and publishers. Plugging the User Profiles Server into their server-side software saves them valuable time and development resources and thus accelerates their time-to-market. The Premium Edition supports all the features offered by the Free Edition plus additional features that qualify the User Profiles Server as a full service for user registration, session management, and profile and preference management.
The User Profiles Server, Premium Edition, exposes an extensive set of web services APIs that enable applications to efficiently and securely access and manipulate the user data and sessions. The API enables the application to register and authenticate users, to manage their sessions, profiles, and preferences, and to control the sharing of user data with other applications.
The Premium Edition enables its administrator to register multiple partners. Each partner can register as a Data Provider, a Data Acquirer, or both. A Data Provider inserts user records into the system. The User Profiles Server then manages the users, their access to the Partners application or web pages, and their profiles and preferences. A Data Acquirer queries the User Profiles Server for information about specific users identified by their mobile numbers.
A Data Provider may select to share its user profiles with specific Data Acquirers. The Data Provider has full control over who to share the user data with and the core of the User Profiles Server is fully virtualized to provides complete separation between the different partners’ data.
